Communication with other professionals:
The services provided by the Clinic are not an alternative to orthodox medical advice. The clinic is aware of and respects the rights of other health practitioners. If appropriate we will ask a client if they have seen a doctor concerning their condition, and if not, advise them to do so. If a general practitioner refers a patient to us, the doctor remains responsible for the patient’s health. Often herbal medicine can work in conjunction with orthodox medicine, however, the clinic will not countermand or obstruct any treatment prescribed by a doctor.
